General employer action plans under Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children

In order to create an environment in which employees can take childcare leave with peace of mind and deepen their understanding of continuous work, Nakamura Corporation will formulate an action plan for childcare leave in the following manner so that all employees can balance work with childcare and fully demonstrate their abilities.

1. Planning period: Three years from September 1, 2016 to August 31, 2019

2. Contents:

Goal 1 We will make the childcare leave system public and provide information on treatment during leave and after returning to work.

・September 2016-Examination of information provided

・November 2016- Providing information and explaining for employees

Goal 2 We will introduce a system that allows employees to take nursing leave for their children.

・From January 2017 Revision of regulations for childcare and family care leave and introducing the system

Goal 3 A system will be introduced to allow employees with children under three years of age to take shorter working hours upon request of the employee.
